One of the things I enjoy most about my “Ambassador-at-Large” job is getting out and meeting many families who listen to our programs. That happened recently when my wife and I were in Michigan’s “Upper Peninsula.” I helped WHWL Radio with their Sharathon, and also did some programs in two different churches with my “ventriloquism and gospel magic” presentations.
So many folk told me how much they enjoy listening to our programs. WHWL carries every radio program we produce except our foreign language ones. They carry the classic half hour Children’s Bible Hour, , Down Gilead Lane, our daily Storytime as well as our current Keys for Kids radio programs. Parents told me how much our programs mean to their families, many of whom are home-schooled since the population of the UP is much less than the Lower Peninsula where CBH is located, and many kids would have to travel miles each day to school. I’ll never forget the faces of sisters Hannah and Sarah who came to one of the church programs almost an hour early. Big smiles when I introduced myself to them, and then I smiled when they told me all about the storytime and classic half hour programs they enjoy every week.
You can listen to some of the same stories THEY hear if you click on our “classics” link on our home page, and then pick a story to listen to.
Hope all is going well for you in school. Come back and visit our website again soon, OK
